Mine use a ramp quite happily.
Ensure the ramp has a nice rough surface so they get a grip. Try to keep the angle low, not steep or they don't like it.

It is such a shame that when trying to be super kind to your pets you can do so much damage to them, and house and home.
I have been using a soil warming cable wound around my waterers to prevent them from freezing. The low ampage and voltage makes for extremely low risk. Add to that the use...
I have quail in a 2 storey rabbit hutch that when I get back out into the garden in a few months will be moved to a better location. I am looking for litter/substrate ideas.
The Quail will have free roam of a caged off area outside of the hutch. If you visialise an outdoor aviary/ meshed cage...
I'm so sorry to hear there is no improvement.
It sounds like the poor fella is more advanced in his arthritis than I had credited. Send him my warmest wishes and take each day as it comes. I am sure that everything you are doing or have started as treatment will be helping.

i would enhance their feed with omega 3's which are known to have benefits to inflammatory arthritis. Something like cod liver oil, sunflower seeds, various nuts. The contents...
It would be worth taking a good look around the cage/house incase there are any new sharp edges to anything that they could have managed to get hurt with. Sometimes the most innocent looking bit of wire mesh can have a nasty sharp edge to it.
Thanks all for the comments.
I have to admit i'm feeling like the folk here ca be a bit on the aggressive side. Of course Im not going to "play with their lives". Quite frankly that was a stupid thing to post. I am well aware of the risks, even down to impacting osmotic impact and causing...
To prevent water freezing I shall be trialing a couple of additives. Water only freezes at -0 (below 0 degrees C degrees when it is pure. Adding salts reduces the freezing temperature - hence the sea doesnt freeze until it is seriously cold. In the UK, we are looking at -5 at the worst...
