    I am so excited for you! It is a beautiful blue too! My wheatens both turned out to be boys. Go figure all I wanted was blue eggs and both chicks were promised to be girls but they started crowing. I finally got a female chick at the end of July... so I have a ways to go before any blue eggs...

    Hello everyone. I have 2 Crested Cream Legbar female chicks. They are about 9-10 weeks old now. I do not see a crest developing at all. Do they develope later or will they be un-crested?

    True. I should try and get some up dated pictures of the boys. They are at my brother in-law's, as I didn't want the crowing to bother my neighbours. They really are looking good. But it would be interesting to hear your comments about their colouring.

    Thankyou. I see what you mean.The boys has some barring in their feathers when the very first ones came in. Still crossing my fingers that Pasha is a girl. Time will tell. Thankyou for your help. ..... actually on second look of the boy's "baby"pictures it isn't really barring I see but colours.
