Congrats! Those are mighty pretty eggs!

I FINALLY got my very first blue egg today!!!! After 9 long months of waiting, my wonderful, beautiful Cora laid me this beauty today:

Seems to be a good size for a pullet egg, and the color is pretty dang good, if I do say so myself

Took a pic of the proud layer, too:

Now for the silly part, and please don't judge me: I screamed when I found it because I was so surprised, lol. Like a little girl. And then, I cried (*cough* sobbed) a little

I'm so flippin happy!!! She got a treat for her good work, too

Thank you!

They are sooo blue! How many weeks old are your girls. I'm still waiting for my blue eggs.

Thanks! Can't beat good lines! :D ;)

Actually, I am not sure on their exact age... NOT Susan's fault, I forgot to ask! :gig

Oh my! What a pretty blue egg! 9 months? You are very patient, but it paid off. Cora is a lovely girl. Congrats.

Thanks, Ravyn! I love it!

That is an absolutely gorgeous color. Worth the wait!
I hope my Ameracaunas don't take that long!

Well, I moved right around the time they should've reached POL, and then they went into a molt, and then it started getting colder and the days got shorter...lol. There were quite a few extenuating circumstances. But it was definitely worth the wait! I love the color so much!

LOL, I was NOT patient. I was threatening to make soup everyday, just about

Oh, and the funny part is, I predicted to my mom yesterday that Cora would lay today, and she came through! So proud!

LOL...I should have written it down for you. :)

25G, the cockerel, hatched 2/29/16.  Both 80O and 90O, the two pullets, hatched 4/25/16.

No worries, it obviously wasn't a real concern of mine, lol... and I did get the receipt form email! Thanks!

Just super excited for the next season! :D
