They are sooo blue! How many weeks old are your girls. I'm still waiting for my blue eggs.

I FINALLY got my very first blue egg today!!!! After 9 long months of waiting, my wonderful, beautiful Cora laid me this beauty today:

Seems to be a good size for a pullet egg, and the color is pretty dang good, if I do say so myself

Took a pic of the proud layer, too:

Now for the silly part, and please don't judge me: I screamed when I found it because I was so surprised, lol. Like a little girl. And then, I cried (*cough* sobbed) a little

I'm so flippin happy!!! She got a treat for her good work, too

Actually, I am not sure on their exact age... NOT Susan's fault, I forgot to ask!

Absolutely gorgeous egg!!!
My first egg pic really didn't show off that true color, lol... that's what happens when she is in a temp cage an the egg got rolled around a bit cuz she hadn't even been here for 24hrs yet!

Well, I moved right around the time they should've reached POL, and then they went into a molt, and then it started getting colder and the days got shorter...lol. There were quite a few extenuating circumstances. But it was definitely worth the wait! I love the color so much!

Oh, and the funny part is, I predicted to my mom yesterday that Cora would lay today, and she came through! So proud!

Beautiful! My Wheaten/Blue Wheatens that I got from Susan lay the nicest eggs out of all the others.
