    Mine have grown up and here is my Roo. I know very little about the breed so I would be interested in your comments. The picture doesn't show it but he is just MASSIVE. Or bigger than the other Roos I've had like Cream Legbars. He is so big he's intimidating.

    So today is National Creamsicle Day so anyone have pics of Silkie/CL pics to post? Don't think I'll get one. I lost my Silkie Roo and my CL roo would probably be too rough for my little Silkie hens. They seem so delicate.

    Need opinions on my coop set-up as a nursery once the chicks hatch. This is the coop. The inside coop is 4x4 and the run underneath is 4x8. Here's my problem. See this ramp? I'm worried that once the chicks hatch they might toddle out the door and off the ramp. Should I close off the door...

    First time broody grandma here. i had two hens go broody at the same time. I moved them to a separate coop that is 4' by 4' and has a ramp down to a 4' by 8' enclosed run. I'm wondering after they hatch their eggs if there is likely to be any nastiness between the two mamas. Anyone done this...

    I moved them. They were not happy but they're back on the nest and so I guess they're fine. They have their own coop to themselves. They're feeling very much like the queens now. :) Thank you!
