    So ella finally starting laying. Layed two days in a row skipped a day then laid on the fourth day. But for the last two days shes been going in and out of the coop squawking like crazy.     Hello. I'm located in Virginia and was wondering what are some good plants/flowers to plant around my coop/coop run area? They will obviously have to be edible and ok for the girls. Any ideas? Thanks!

    A couple of weeks ago we found this in the hen house. Not sure which of the six did it? This was a one time incident, haven't seen it since. What could this be? Anything that we need to do/be concerned about?

    I take a lot of pictures of my chickens. Is that weird?

    No way! I'm always taking pictures of our girls. Pretty sure everyday there's a couple that LOVE the camera as you can see.
