    I have 3 older chickens I inherited with the coop I bought. One hen's lower beak is longer than the top and I sense she has trouble eating She is also blind in one eye. Can I put her in with my 3 month old chicks? I feel she might be better off with the younger ones. Comments? Advice?

    Getting eggs?

    My first time... I have 14 chicks/chickens that are 3 months old now. When can I expect to get eggs from them? I read in an earlier thread to keep them on the chick food w/med until then. Just curious when they start to lay eggs!

    First day out

    My chicks are now 12 days old and beginning to show feathers on their wings. I have them in a bathtub with a heat lamp but they are strong and standing on the waterer. It's in the upper 80's here and lows in the 70s. Safe to transfer them outside yet? If not, when is the time? I have a...
