    I had to separate my males due to fighting, but that was prior to my females death. I may have to reintroduce a male to her mate as he's looking for her like crazy. The egg that broke was due to human error when changing the bedding. I wish I had an x-ray machine to see if she did become egg bound.

    Bleeding beak

    The majority do not have any blood on their beaks. Of those that do, they look pretty much the same. 24% protein, Manna Pro Gamebird. I loved them to my chicken brooder, which is a 4'X4' box. So far, no others have blood on their beaks.

    I was afraid that they shrink wrapped. When I get home tonight I will do what you suggest, getaclue. The one I assisted die about 5 minutes ago. Just wasn't meant to make it.
