    Yes, the reason I moved to Orkney in the first place was for the diving! Used to do a lot more than I do now. Nowadays its eggs for supper rather than scallops :)

    A stoat is in the same family as weasels & ferrets. We don't have many predators in Orkney - no foxes; but stoats were accidentally introduced a few years ago and have spread like mad causing all sorts of problems for native wildlife and for us poultry owners.
