    I bought 40 chicks hatched on Jan 15... I have them in an outside coop in a brooder cage with cardboard boxes all around. I have 2 250 watt heat lamps with red bulbs. I have adjusted the height so that the temp I feel is just right, the chicks don't huddle up in a ball and they don't spread out...
