    It looks to me like a cotton mouth. We had a lot of them in Texas when I was a kid. But they are real tasty! smile. I would have killed it too. Cotton mouths and kids do not really get along and they only hiss before they strike.

    Hi, I had that problem too and just started baking used eggshells at about 100 degree C for about one hour then grinding them or crushing them and adding that to their food. Seemed to work as they stopped eating their eggs.
