I’ve looked for what seems like hours for the answer to this; How in the world do ducklings raised by their mother stay warm and dry, especially in water. I know on land the ducklings can huddle under her like chicks and a hen would. But ducks take their 1-2 day old ducklings straight into...
They've been gone for weeks even months now, I've been checking all 17 birds every now and then and I can't find a single louse. :bow But maybe they'll resurface I don't know.
They actually went away on their own sort of, I just provided them with bath water constantly and they disappeared over time. Also they showered in the rain, but I don't know if that does anything. Now they're molting too so yeah I don't know.
Yeah I know they're gross but I can't figure out how :hitlike everything I google ends up being for wing mites and like you can't dip their head and neck into a solution like that so.. like the only place the bugs are are on their neck :barnie
I noticed some small long light brown bugs on one of my pigeons a while ago and I pulled them off and now there's dozens of them on all 18 of my birds! I'm wondering how to treat this lol they don't seem to be harming them at all I think they're eating the powder they produce and not the...
:bow:bowI guess all but one of my pigeons don't know that sitting out in a torrential downpour is not good. Any ideas? They do go in in the evening to sleep, but also when I'm training them they usually just fly home and land on the telephone poles or the roof, and not back in. I'm attempting to...
Yes! Thanks. It worked, they returned to the new loft yesterday, but I'm going to keep them in there for a couple days to make sure they're all settled in.
Ive had my pigeons for about 2 weeks now and they've been in one loft, and I started letting them out a couple days ago and they do well. I just completed a new, better loft, and I was wondering if they'd be able to switch over to that one, about 50ft away from the other. Thanks!
