    My hens just started laying eggs. They have learned to use the nest box for laying eggs only; however, sometimes their are poop skid marks on the eggs. Is this normal? If so how do I clean and store the eggs? If this is not normal, what could it be?

    I think so because the feathers look like the Barred Rock but body similar to the leghorn. They are very friendly.

    I have 2 California Grays which are a cross between a Barred Rock and Leghorn. They look like your birds; however mine are not very common.
