    I have a 2 yr old hen that is just laying down today. I checked her vent and it is clean but she hasn't laid eggs in months. When I put her down she was a little wobbly. Any ideas?

    Integrating new birds into existing flock

    I tried introducing my 11 weekers in with my 1 and a half year olds. The olders quickly started attacking the younger ones. So they are back to separate spaces. Will try again in a few weeks. One of the older girls is having her first molt also so hopefully she will settle down once it is over.

    Yes she is wiping it back and forth. not pecking though as in eating just turns her head to the side and hits her beak on ground.

    I have 2 Easter Eggers and 2 Olive Eggers, I added oyster shells to there All Flock feed and still no eggs. Is it still to early?
