So a couple months back i got the same problem with my male pekin. He doesnt use his foot at all anymore. Walks like a peg leg pirate!! I took him to the vet when it first happened and nothing was broken. 10 days with antibiotics later. Peg leg.... He dnt seem to be in any pain. He still swims...

I did the same thing u did!! When we moved i let them free range the whole backyard! They go to their coop still like normal!!

My name is Trisha. I have 4 chickens, 2 of them are buff Orpington. 2 are Americana; and 4 ducks, 2 pekin and 2 mallards. And 1 St. Bernard. They are my babies!! I ve had them almost a yr. Except the mallards. They are 8 wks! I spend alot of time in my backyard which is my sanctuary!
