Lost one chicken and another is sick

This is what I've read from Merck Animal Health...... Safe-Guard® AquaSol must be administered orally to chickens via the drinking water at a daily dose of 1 mg/kg BW (0.454 mg/lb) for 5 consecutive days. The medicated water must be prepared daily prior to each administration. Safe-Guard...

Lost one chicken and another is sick

Can I give Corid and Safeguard at the same time? My sick chicken's poop was dark green with mucus. I think she could have worms. I saw bits of very thin string like pieces.

I have found corid but it says it's for calves. Does it need to say chickens? Or can I use any of them?

How much Corid should I give her and do I treat the whole flock?

No, I've tried to find vets that see chickens in my area. Couldn't find anyone that did.

I wouldn't think you should give corid or safeguard to a sick chicken. Is that correct?

We give the a high protein layer feed and they had stopped laying. I was thinking probably old age.

Lost one chicken and another is sick

I've lost a chicken 2 weeks ago and another is sick. They both were older, about 8 and 10 years old. Both had chronic pasty butt. They both became lethargic, puffed up, and small appetites. I have a few other birds that have a small amount of pasty butt. They seem to be fine. Not sure what to do.

    Deworming

How often should you deworm your chickens. They seem to be fine but some of them have messy butts and the egg production is 4 or 5 eggs daily out of 16 chickens. What do you use for deworming and how much?

My chicken has a swollen infected toe

I have put them on the roost tonight with the flock. I will monitor in them morning and put them back in their safe area if need be.
