I really like the lavenders too! No, it isn't lavender, they are all mixed colors. I don't have the Cochins separated by color (I have 1 splash, 2 black, 1 black/White hen and 2 black/white roosters)...I wasn't planning on hatching any of their eggs but then they all went broody on me...- shell55

Went out to feed the chickens on Saturday morning and found 3 chicks had hatched from one of my broody Cochins. I have 4 Cochin hens and 3 of them went broody around the same time. Don't give up, you can do it! There are tons of ideas, Plans and videos online for just about anything you would want to build. Like hechicken said, it is rewarding to be able to look at something and say "I did that"!- shell55

My Grandparents had Miniature horses when I was younger, I loved them! We also had big horses and I think they pretty much require the same care. We showed the Mini's, so we worked with them a lot!
