    how to tell the sex of canaries and if possible the age

    I know my canaries are at least 4 months because the lady said when she got them from pet store they where young and she had them for 4 months they are suppose to be male and female. How do I tell for sure? Also if I decide to breed do I separate them after breeding. Or can I keep togather. thanks

    the white albino parakeet has a tan to brownish cere or creamish color and is over 1 year old and the yello parakeet has a pinkish purple cere but i dont know the age of this bird. also if anyone can tell me how to read the leg bands the numbers are bbfe5979 and bbfc6050 please let me know thanks
