    It is totally firm feels like a bone. It’s oblong shape. It literally appeared overnight. That’s what makes me think. Possibly a tumor as well.

    Could it be a allergic reaction to something that she got into or could it be that she was stung by a spider or something?

    I tried to get a better picture. This picture shows where the bump is right under her tongue.

    I checked it out, but I don’t think that’s what it is. It appears to be a swollen spot under her tongue, keeping her mouth from closing.

    She is five weeks old been totally fine and then I just found her by herself with her mouth open. It appears or something under her tongue.

    I never saw any on her waffle or comb. It was only on her back until today. She never exhibited anything with her neck until today.

    Update on my hen literally overnight she went to this!!! I am putting her down tomorrow but would like to know what happened what did she have? Thank you so much.

    Noticed this on one of my hens she’s the only hen that is displaying this on her feathers. Her eyes seem to be have gotten larger as well. Is it mites or lice?
