    The 4th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long

    I would like to join the hatch, I've got 26 eggs ready for the incubator...this will be my 1st time using my new Hova-Bator. My fingers are crossed that all goes well. I predict that 15,475 will be set for this 4th Annual Easter Hatch-a-Long. Good luck everyone!

    Is this a Jake? What Breed?

    This is a turkey I was wanting to trade some bantams for. My daughter wants a turkey hen for a pet. We don't want a tom at all. Several people on Facebook (where I found the post for it in my area) have said it was a hen then several have said it looks like a Jake. It is about 4 moths old.

    I bought some Golden Sebrights last year (a trio). I noticed when the hens were about six months old that their crowns started turning darker. Almost like a dark purplish color. No bumps or sores, just change in color. No change in activity, etc. The rooster's come never changed, still red...
