Those are the pics of the eggs we've collected. Since the 20th, we've had an egg everyday and today we found 3 eggs in the nesting box. So far, so good. :)
Thanks for the replys yall. I have a cell phone video of my 9yo daughter checking for it.. It's precious! Not sure if I can post a video. My wife was pretty excited too. :)
Okay, so now the questions begin.. We do have a rooster, so I'm guessing that chances are good it's a fertilized egg. So to stop the process, do we refrigerate the egg? And, as we collect eggs, how long can they stay out of the refridgerator? Pretty obvious we're new to this huh?
We're having a ball with these little chickens. They were born May 1st of this year. We have no idea what breed they are, and really have no care.. It's all about the fun we're having! We started with 9 babies however we lost a hen last week to a Hawk. Here's a few pictures [/IMG][/IMG]
