So I have an almost year old Sussex Rooster and this morning he was making a strange noise so my dad went down to check on him and he stopped making the noise. Later on in the day I went down to check on him and noticed his top beak looked like it was shedding but there was some blood..
He...
Thank you so much for telling me what you assume their genders to be! It was very kind of you since no one else has given me an estimate and i just wanted any little bit of a clue i could. :) i really appreciate it.
Hi, thanks for your input. Im new to raising chicks and I'm guessing the lady lied to me about their birthdate because on another thread someone told me they looked 3 weeks old as well! Silly me! So I'll just wait a little longer.
Oooh sorry I'm new to all this and the breeder i got them from told me they'd be 5 weeks old. The four chicks I have are:
#1- coronation large sussex
#2- buff large sussex
#3- Partridge Silkie Bantam
#4- Buff silkie bantam
Okay so my chicks are 5 weeks old currently (they were born 15/16th April) and I was wondering if someone could help me find out whether they are girls or boys and explain the signs since this is my first time raising chicks.
Also are there any treats I can give them now they're a little older...
