This is about a quinea fowl actually but I don't think that matters. The bird has been just laying on the floor of the coop for a couple days. I was able to pick it up this morning with no complaint. It has soft fairly bright green stool smeared around on it's feathers. It's vent is not plugged...
Probably been covered before but couldn't find anything. What are people's opinions on packaging and freezing whole birds? Have done plenty of grouse and rabbit but usually only meat or pieces.

Is there some recommendation for slaughtering chickens near other chickens? Not that I'm going to make the other birds watch but our property and set up make it more feasible to do it near the fenced in area. They do have a lot of area to roam so they don't have to be right there.
