    I bought lavendar wyandotte chicks this year and as they are feathering out I am noticing that two of them have pinkish faces and two have more of a black/grey face and beak. Does anybody know if this signifies anything?

    I just got some SLW's! I have been wanting them since I started getting chickens and yay I snagged two POL pullets!!! $12 a piece. They are hatchery stock and one has pretty poor lacing and the other has incomplete lacing but they are just for my layer flock so that's fine by me! Very sweet...

    I have two HRIR pullets, I just love how shiny they are! They almost look like they've been rubbed in baby oil! LOL One of my two pullets laid her first egg yesterday!! Just a tiny one but I'm sure they'll get bigger quickly I'm so eggcited!
