    Hi they are 21 weeks old and was laying right at 19 weeks when they started to the day these are the red sex links the oprington's are not laying yet i have 12 of the rsl's and 13 orpingtons all the same age i'll let you know if i can when they start to lay talk to ya soon Shirl

    Hello Everyone just an update i forgot this thread was here my chicks are now laying we get 8 or 9 per day now woo hoo they started laying 2 weeks ago Anyone have a Buff Orpington roo to get rid of or sell i have all girls, was hoping for a mistake but nope all girls lol have a great day Shirl

    These are my very first eggs as of 8/6/07 my girls were 19 weeks old they will be 20 wks old tomorrow Here are some of the girls i don't know which ones laid them

    Thanks Tess i thought tho at 17 weeks it would be o.k for layer feed instead of buying a 50lb bag of starter again looks like they like it tho

    Hi I have 25 chicks 12 buff orps and 13 rsl they are all 17 weeks on Monday as of today no eggs but the 13 rsl combs are getting red so i should see eggs from them soon the buff orps are showing no signs of red combs yet i'll let you know when the first egg arrives oh and i just put them on...

    Aww i didn't see that or i would have got a hold of you not to worry i'm sure i'll find one somewhere I can get mixed roo's from my son but i want to keep in the same breeds as i have just my luck i got 25 hens like i ordered i thought i would have gotten at least one roo but nope not a one...

    CONGRATULATIONS crazy4daisy Still waiting here i went out last night to give them some cooked rice and applesauce and i did notice some of the hens combs are getting red i hope this is a good sign i'm thinking i may need a roo for my 25 girls anyone in MO have any extra either orps or red sex...

    oh nooo i'm so sorry you lost your chicks I hope you find out who or what did this to them I have just put mine outside 2 days ago i hope nothing happens to them they are 2 months old now I do have them in a chain link fence but no top on it yet i will have to do that today looks like
