New Baby!!!

Oh my gosh!!! When I got home this evening I found a new addition to our family underneath our broody, Twinkie!!! She (she, she, she) is strong and healthy and curious. She has come out from underneath momma several times to visit and even crawled into my hand!

I'm so excited because the chicks are a couple of days overdue and I was beginning to think they were all dead!

This little one came out of a brown egg, so she is Ameracauna crossed with either Buff Orp, Australorp, or Silver-Laced Wyandotte.

Can't wait to see if we get any more! 13 eggs to go???!!!!!!

I'll check on the camera when I get home tonight. I know it's a Kodak, but I can't remember what model. I'm just learning to use it, so it was kinda fun to actually get a picture from the camera all the way to the forum!!!

My camera is a Kodak EasyShare Z650. I'm still learning to use it, but so far it takes great pictures! The 10X zoom is really helpful.
