everyone! It’s been a mission, it’s 24 hours after he pipped and he hadn’t zipped at all. We know you arnt meant to help them hatch but it was our only option. As we started we could see the entire membrane was completely dried out so we were just in time! And it worked! We assume the humidity...

We think he pipped around 7am (nz time)this morning when do you think we should expect it to fully hatch? Thanks so much guys!

Aww that’s so cute! We are hoping this one hatches even if it’s just one so she hasn’t been a great mum for nothing!

No hatch yet but we can hear him or her peeping inside the egg!

They are silkies, they were posted to us on Tuesday arrived Friday the 1st so we let them rest for 24 hours and they went under at like 8am on the 2nd.

This morning we checked and there seems to be a little pip! Everyone cross your fingers!

There has been no improvement no noise or the eggs moving so we massaged the lady we got the eggs from and she said we could try lightly sprinkling water over top to soften the shell a little bit just incase they can’t peck their way through. Not sure if it will work but will keep you guys updated!

When we candeled them it was quite hard to see movement but it looked all black/dark except for a light spot at the top which we assume is the air bubble.

Yea your so right, I think we will just cross our fingers and hope they are just late bloomers
