    Hen attacked by other hen

Ok, I'll try to get a pic of it this morning. I have her in her own pen so she can't get into any more trouble

    Hen attacked by other hen

So you wouldn't advise on lancing the area of the eye and letting the pus drain? I was hoping she'd recover like the other hen did but that's not the case. It almost looks like her eyes are sealed over. They're split where the eye opening should be but looks as if there is skin over it

    Hen has sour smelling poo

Have a hen that hatched out 3 chicks and now that she is up and moving around again, her poo is very sour smelling. I have her and the chicks in a coop by themselves since there are older chicks in the same area. Hoping someone can tell me if this is normal after going so long without eating or...

    Hole in egg

About once a week, one of my barred rock hens will lay an egg that has a hole in it. I don't believe she has pecked it, rather it looks as if the hole hasn't quite closed. The edges are raised as if it was broken off. The membrane is never breached. If anyone has answers, please help! Thank you!
