    I don't have any pics but I sprayed them before I got your reply. they are both out of the shell and I've got the membrane off. I have them in the incubator with humidity at 45% it's in gods hands now. Thank you so much I'll name one after you.

    If you get your incubator back up to temp the live eggs should be at temp within a hour. By then you will feel a difference in temp between the ones that are alive and the ones that are not doing the hand method. Don't forget to raise the humidity up to 65-70% on the last 3 days so the chicks...

    I use one of those hand held thermometers that is digital and you just point it at the egg and a red dot shines on the egg .I don't know the name they are called.

The reason egg temp is important rather then air temp is because the chick will produce heat if it's alive. this is why temps increase as incubation periods are further along.     How many days along was the incubation when this happened and did you measure egg temp which is what is important.

    Thank You for your kind reply. I have 2 incu therms and both read differently. They are not calibrate-able. If it is a remote sensor type try cleaning the sensor with warm water.
