Rigor lasting days & days...
We have had older chickens take almost 7 days to relax nicely. We keep ours in a cooler we used to rest the birds. The first 1-2 days we fill with water and add salt, and fill with ice. 56 hatched. Our house took a little over a foot of water . Now are are wading through the red tape and waiting to see if we are going to get to repair it . It's gonna be a long process . Easter egger male ?
I don't mind a rooster at all. I really love his color. It the pictures make it hard to see, but he has even more color than the pic shows. Often so many of them look alike. I have a different looking hen that just started to feather out. Very excited of what she will look like.- SimplyLogan
