no naked eggs, no crushed eggs. 4/4 today! I think I’ve solved the problem(they didn’t like the feeder that held the oyster shell).

3/4 No naked egg this morning! It was however so thin that it was utterly crushed in the nest box. Still working on upping their calcium.

April 30th 4 hens = two eggs(missing the big one and the part timer that lays pale nubbly eggs but not every day) Maaaybe we’re past the naked eggs? There was a suspicious wet poo this morning and no big egg… but maybe she’s just clearing house and gearing up again?

Gluten free oatmeal raisin cookies today. I usually whip up one or two batches of this and keep the dough portioned in the freezer so we can just bake one or two each whenever we want instead of eating all 24 in two days.

Did you use sugar or an alternative sweetener like splenda or stevia? Mold sounds like it wasn’t acidic enough and that might happen if the mother wasn’t producing enough acid due to lack of food. Not meant as pointing fingers:oops:… I just like to puzzle out problems.
