I think she is asking if you cross a salmon to a blue what do you get? I assume you get salmon, blue and splash? I have a young flock of Large fowl salmons and I simply love them. I would love to see what one of these splashes looks like! Beautiful birds by the way!
They are mounted in the top, but they are side by side. They are both the same distance from the door. So do I just pick one for primary and one for the back up? Yes it is only wired to one light. So are you saying that the light will work the same as you said earlier even though there is only 1?
jvls1942 Thanks for the info. I still am a little confused. My stats are side by side not front to back. So do you mean by front the first one in the wiring? I hope you get what I am asking? Thanks again.
I guess I should add that there is only one indicator light.
Hi again everyone. I have a new "to me" cabinet incubator. I got it up and running, but it seems like it short cycles. Like the element doesn't stay on for more than 10 to 20 seconds. Is this normal? My little giants don't cycle that short. Just wondering if anyone has any advice? I haven't had...
Okay so I bought an antique cabinet incubator today. It doesn't have any tags on it, but it looks just like a picture I found of a Kuhl Model # 624. On the front there is an electrical box that has a switch and an indicator light. The light is busted. Does anyone know if this is something I can...
No I haven't actually observed up close. I'm not sure I'd know what I was looking for anyhow. After the eggs being in the incubator for 3 weeks I was a little leery of cracking one open. If I set a couple more how many days until you can see it? Or does it even take days?
I have a pen with 4 OEGB's. The roo snd one of the hens aren't quite a year old yet and the other 2 hens I'm not sure how old they are. Any how I'm pretty sure the one I'm getting eggs from is the young hen with maybe one occasionally from one of the older hens. Well a month ago I set some of...
Hey everyone.
I have a 2 week old chick that got a piece of wood chip stuck under its eye. I tried to pull it out today but I'm afraid I didn't get it all. Is there anything that anyone would suggest to put on it? I don't think it can see out of it's eye so I'm not holding my breath on it...
I have a Blue breasted red old english game bantam roo over a Black oegb hen. Any ideas what the chicks may look like? Do you think I will be able to tell them apart from my BB red and Splashes?
Thanks everyone. I hadn't even thought about the people thermometers. So eggcited maybe I was over thinking it a little. Any way thanks for all the suggestions.
