    flyers and clipping their wings

    I have 5 girls all about 1 yr old. The 2 Ameraucanas fly a lot. Mostly over the backyard fence 4 ft high, but I am sure they could fly much higher.     Thanks for the info. I have kept them in later in the day before I let them out and at least yesterday I got 5 eggs in the boxes. Today it was 4 and one outside. I will try the fake eggs and look forward to many 5 egg days. Thanks again, sissybug

    stopped laying

    One of my girls, about 23 weeks old, was laying 1 egg a day for about 3 weeks. Then 4 days ago she stopped. Do I need to worry or is this just because she is new at the egg thing.
