    Dominique chicks rooster or pullet?

    So I got my Dominique chicks from TSC out the the straight run bin. The markings are different between the two and the smaller one has no hen feathers so I’m hoping I have a rooster 🐔. They are two weeks old. I know maybe to early to tell but I’m so excited at the possibility. Any thoughts?

    bloody egg?

    These chickens are over a year old and have been laying fine until he got a Rooster. Since then we have gotten an egg that was alittle bigger than a robins egg...lol it was cute and now the bloody egg. Just want to make sure they are o.k, My daughter and I love these RIR as they were her 4-H...

    One of my Dad's chickens layed a bloody egg today. He said thaid it had a shell but that there was a good bit of blood on the outside. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help, Shawna

    Is my hen going to keep eating the eggs?

    My Dad got a rooster to try and hatch more chicks but the chickens eat the eggs if left for more than 2 days. He feeds them the graduale feed instead of pellets like I did with my chickens, says they eat it better.

    They collect the eggs to eat and didn't want to leave all the eggs, not knowing which would be the babies. Should they just stop collecting eggs for awhile? My mom said that they weren't sitting on the eggs.

    Chicken and Duck eggs

    My dad has his chickens and ducks together. They have laid their eggs in the same box, first the duck will sit on them and when she gets up the chicken will sit on them. He is worried about what will happen when they hatch. Does he need to separate the eggs? Thanks for any help!
