you could try some eletric fencing in future ....stops our dogs on the field ..wasnt put up for that purpos but it dose seem to keep them in the upper part of the area sorry im to far awqay to giv u eggs hope this never happens again

lol i wouldent worry about forgetting to turn it off just dont turn them into battery hens therelife expectancy drasticly lowers and so dose the egg yild per yer lol forgetting to turn the light off iv done worse forggeting to close the door !

well my flock is just small but on our small holding we also have a large flock with 2 roos in nither of them dance (wing down bit) even the alpha this is y i ask if your roos dance or not

i dont make money out of my chicken....and one duck however so far thay have pretty much payed for themself so im not scofing the upkeep £7-15 a month and i can easy make that in summer from the extra eggs and cover most on winter 2 i would keep them if thay made me money or not all out u...

this I dont think is just down to age our chuks dont have there toes falling off....never have and we have some pretty old girls ...... hope u find out what the problem is might be a tuma or something but im no expert im just looking at a logical answer
