    The main problem is that they will eat anything that is good to eat, so they plant won't stick around to provide shade unless it tastes yucky to them. Not sure what the answer is!

    Newborn chicks dying...why?

    I just put fertilized eggs under my broody as was wondering if and when the babies hatch if I should take them away and care for them or let the mom do it. Sounds like it might be a good idea to take them away to safety just in case. What do you think?
