Yes we switched to deep feeders and crumbles with we got her so it's easier for her to eat. she also gets salad and treats individually so that I know she gets as much as she wants. Is there anything else you recommend?
New to the chicken world and I have yet to sex my Langshans or silkie. If anyone could possibly help me get the gender on these I would be very grateful. There are 4 dark ones, a light one, and then the buff silkie.

My mom usually buys the plastic ones from Tractor Supply when they go on clearance for $0.50 each. We use those for the house and any eggs we give away/sell go in reused foam ones from the store. Friends and neighbors keep them and give them to us.
I think I lucked out with my LO rooster, but I've also heard they are a docile breed anyway.
The turkeys are very very curious, first ones to come up the the side of the brooder for pets and snuggles, definitely not hand shy. When they get a little bigger they may go to a separate brooder.
