    I'm sorry to say this but the chick does not look good. I would leave it in the incubator until it dries. In my experience, if you have to help the chick out of the shell it doesn't make it. Low temps will cause late hatch and weak chicks.

    The temp probe, stapled on the plastic sheet, lays on top of the eggs. Make sure to use another thermometer next to the probe that you know is accurate. Mine works fine but I have heard that some of the new digital Little Giants have issues.
