    Sick week old baby chick

No I don't. Was thinking of picking some up this am at the farm store but the people there seemed to think it wasn't cocci.

    Sick week old baby chick

It was so strong and healthy up until yesterday. I think it just got too cold/ weak. :( But then why isn't it bouncing back permanently now? :(

    Sick week old baby chick

How would I know if it's cocci if it didn't present with the classic bloody stool? It's stools aren't bloody. They were watery after I hydrated it last night and now fairly normal looking...

Help with pip on wrong end!

Thanks so much for your help!! I appreciate it a lot. What justifies "in distress"? It hasn't made an attempt at zipping all day. But it's made the hole bigger by a bit. It chirps every once in a while.

Help with pip on wrong end!

There hasn't been much progress. :/ the chick with the wrong end pip managed to knock the shell off so now I see membrane and I think it has a tear in it, so it can get oxygen I hope. My temps were pretty high for a couple of days; I hope that didn't ruin our hatch. :(

Help with pip on wrong end!

Hi all! I'm incubating a dozen eggs and one of my chicks (they're due to hatch today/tomorrow) just pipped last night! But it's on the skinny end. I've been reading about it and it seems like if it's an external pip, the chick has a pretty good chance. But i'm not sure if this pop is large...
