    How Long?

    Thank you. They are at day 23. We leave on vacation on Saturday and would hate to come back to an even smellier chicken coop. I think I will candle them tomorrow and get rid of any not hatched by time we leave. Thanks again

    How Long?

    How long after the eggs/chicks are due to hatch should you wait before removing the unhatched eggs from the nest? I'd sure hate to end up with stink bomb in my chicken coop

    What do I do?!!

    Help... my chicks are hatching - I'm hatching chicks the natural way using mamma hen and the eggs started hatching this morning. From what I can see mamma hen seems to be mushing them then tossing them out of the next. What should I do? I already have 1 dead pancake looking chick. Thank You!

    Help !!

    I found it dead when I went to feed this morning. It was still part wet, very flat, and laying outside of the nest. I know another egg is hatching because when she moved I saw it partly open. If this one has the same ending can I try using a heat lamp over the eggs...or would our 95 deg weather...
