Help! I dropped an egg while candling day 17. It shattered the top. An internet search suggested wax on the cracks. I painted hot wax on them, put it into the incubator. Day 24, I picked it up to toss and heard peeping! I gently chipped a hole and it was the beak. It was not in position and was real dry. I partially zipped 1/4. Six hours in incubator- nothing. I assisting in hatch. It has a mild hernia. What now??
