    YES IT Is a better location to pull from. I also have a vent at the highest point crown.

    I started with 25 bales....One for the run its pretty deep. 24 for wind blocks!

    I offten wonder that. I have 17 birds sleep in a space about 18 x 18 inch every night even when its warm. Someday they may change that who knows?

    We rake it stright to the compost thats about 20 foot away.

    Using deep litter method for the coop in the winter sand in the spring. Run is straw for winter and sand in the spring.

    I just use a bucket with a string. Mine are 5 weeks old and have to raise it a little each week, but love the system. []

    Oh thats to easy! Add rafter to the top sheet and roof it. Pop the side decking off use it for roost and put on sideing on the top. Fence in the bottom as run.
