This is the worst part its just a fenced in part of our BARN big two story barn with hay and straw... it has a dog in it, and 4 cows.
I bought the dust and i have help coming to try and dust and clean out the pen in the morning. I just can't do it by my self I wanted hubby to do it tonight but...

is it normal for the eggs to be that big they are almost twice the size of the normal eggs, Is this bad for my hens couldnt that be like a mom trying to have a 3 month old baby (15+ lbs) ouch!
my laying hens have been laying apx an egg a day each hen for well over a month now. Might have one or two not laying or not laying as often we have 18 laying hens and get apx 16 eggs a day.
My question is the size of the egg has begun to change to these enormous eggs HUGE to big to fit in...
i gave ya a 5 star. That is great idea! I wish my yard was flat near the barn I would put our trampoline there. The kids always complain about the bugs in the evening while jumping. that would sure cut the #'s of bugs down.

Thank you so much. Right now I'm checking for eggs 3-5 times a day. On days im not out there as often i seem to have less eggs. Are they eating the eggs on the fewer egg days? Or just a coincidence
I will be working on blocking off the hole tomorrow.

I have around 30 chickens. The pen is about 1/4 of our cow barn. We have a fenced in area out side the barn the length of the barn about 8 feet wide. Never had a problem with them getting out "yet". ''
