Thanks for the lecture about wildlife conservation, but I did not actually plan on aiming a shotgun at the falcon mentioned. Sorry it offended you so. Okay, so about twenty minutes ago me and two of my sisters were outside watching our four ducklings swim in their pool. Out of nowhere, a giant hawk/falcon came swooping down and wrestled with one of the ducks, leaving us stunned as we stood up and screamed, trying to rid the giant bird away... -

So do I need to be around them all the time? They don't peep constantly—only for intervals at a time. -

Ducklings don't like me
Already tried feeding them from my hands, which they like, but once I pick them up they go nuts. Not sure if taking them out individually would be good, so I'm still unsure. Thanks for the input :) -

I have 5 three day old ducklings, and they seem to be terrified of me. They are being raised by my family, so are they confused about 4 different people to imprint on? The first day they didn't care about being picked up, but now they peep and squirm like crazy! We even put them down and watched... -
Runt duckling?
Sadly, the little guy died yesterday after having him for a few hours. Still not sure what was wrong; I'm guessing he had some problems upon arrival and since he was so tiny, it was probably for the best :( -
Bullying duckling
Today I got my 5 ducklings, and one of the bigger ones keeps nipping at and trampling the others! I removed him for anfew minutes, but as soon as I put him back in, he started again. Any way to stop this? -

The thing is, he starts peeping like crazy if i remove him. I gave him a hand warmer and he fell asleep and seemed to calm down, so we'll see how it goes. -

So I just got my 5 ducklings a few hours ago from the mail, and they all seem fine except one. The smallest is just sitting there and not moving, peeping like crazy. The others are pecking at him and trampling him, yet he won't drink or eat much at all. I already tried sugar water and I'm afraid... -
