    What do you use to clean the roost bars/walls that get covered in chicken poop?

    No way to remove it all once it hits bare wood (other than sanding). Putting feedbags up behind the roosts helps. For new hen houses coating the walls behind the roosts with BlackJack57 is the best solution (and the floors, and the ramps etc...). Poop brushes right off that stuff once dry.

    So sorry to hear that. With tiny chicks (or any very young critters) they can go downhill very fast. If he couldn't get to water then heat/dehydration may also have been the culprit.
