Maybe I can fence off a feeding area for it... We're in MO and I'm pretty sure it's an eastern box turtle which is native to here. I think (only just started researching this stuff today) I need just to make sure it has a good area to hibernate for winter.
My cousin had it in a tiny glass...
My cousin just had to give up her pets for health reasons, and now we are the proud owners of a box turtle. I would like to keep it outside with the chickens but am wondering if it will be safe?? I saw a few posts about it but no one who's had the 2 together has given an update about...
Has anyone given this to their chickens? Mine aren't crazy about the crumbles/feed and this seems tasty...

What sites on FB would you suggest? I just put in a request on STL backyard chickens. I've been contacting people on craigslist but the coops are gone within a day!
We thought we could build a coop...we were wrong! I'm trying to find a coop that doesn't need to be rebuilt completely, we are going to start with 3 or 4 chickens so I'm considering this one: https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Chicken-Coops/The-Clubhouse-Coop-w-Run-up-to-4-chickens-p1167.aspx...
