My spoiled Muscovy gal
She's so sweet! It must be very hard when she cries like that not to pick her up. So lovable! I wish my Muscovy's would let me cuddle them. Or even touch them. I have 2 out of 6 that will just barely let me touch them. -

Tractor Supply carries Nutrena Naturewise All Flock which has about 125ppm of Niacin. This is compared to Purina Duck feed at 65ppm and Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance at 162ppm. It can be ordered online & shipped or some stores carry it in stock. -

By any chance might the de-icer have caused the water to get electrified? Short in it or surge or something? Not sure what type of de-icer you have but is it possible one or more might have got burned by it, say while dunking their head in. I know how they like to root around under water. -

My neighbor across a busy street has coyote & maybe fox killing her ducks, chickens and even one of her turkey's. I'm hoping they stay over there but with little left to prey on I'm afraid they'll discover my ducks. I'm hoping the chain link fence will deter them. In one respect I miss summer... -

Mine has never attacked me like that. He actually doesn't attack at all. The only time he tries to bite me is when I try to pet him. I don't know if it's a good thing or not but if he keeps trying to bite me after I say NO! I grab his bill and hold it for a couple seconds. That seems to work... -
