    Okay.... Well, now on to my next question; is there any reason to discard the eggs that we've gotten for the past few weeks? They have been at room temperature, but I'd hate to have a surprise in one. I know, there won't be a chick, but would it be warm enough for any development to have occurred?

    I have a 7 month old std Cochin that is massive. She has enormous wattles and comb, and become quite aggressive. My husband is convinced that she's a 'he'. But, at 7 months old, should 'he' have started crowing by now? Thanks! Michelle

    Thanks! She's been on her back most of the day. It's just pitiful to watch. Fortunately, my original 6 were all vaccinated. Yes, I got these from a member of my chicken group, so I wasn't as concerned since I know several others that have gotten chickens from her. I'll let you know.
