Y’all rock. I was leaning towards hen, too. I’ll tell my son. We’ve had her about two weeks.

A homeschool family found this chicken and needed to rehome it. I took it in and am completely baffled on gender or breed. It can fly. My son thinks is a hen, based on color and the sound it makes. My husband thinks it’s a roo, because it has a spur. It can fly. It flies to our roof.

Oh! Just looked them up. Pretty. The chicks do look like them. Hmmm… just got to wait and see now.

What rightful owner? Random chicken crossing a road. No homes. Land. I just needed some help identifying.

I’d assume. A chicken crossed a road with chicks and got run over. Some chicks evaded.

My husband is in banking and does site visits. It was just land. Plus, people let their chickens loose and or free ranging. Just wondered if these guys look like a specific breed. I’ve never had chicks that look like them.

My husband found a dead chicken and chicks that were run over by a car … plus these six guys. He didn’t take a picture of the dead hen for me to identify, so any guesses on what these guys are?

The black ones floofy head is wet it’s quite poofy when dry.

I am selling our flock. But my Silkies are my babies - I know the people that are on this board will give them a good home. Three silkies - two nonbearded (partridge and black) and one bearded (paint/splash) and a rooster show girl splash/paint. I live in Riverview, FL - Tampa Bay. Anyone?
