    HELP! Egg bound?

I would get her to the vets as soon as possible. If you don't catch it early there's a good chance she'll die and you can't really tell how long she's been like that for. I've had an egg-bound hen and unfortunately, that same sad fate happened to her not too long ago. A reason a hen would...

    Please help!!!

@Sneebsey @Eggcessive Thank you so much for your words of comfort. I didn’t get to check her out because it was 11:00 pm and we buried her right after she passed. She smelled sick or infected or something. I’m not sure. We’re pretty sure it’s because she was egg bound. Thanks again :hugs

    Please help!!!

Ill look at her crop right now. I do feel something like an egg and its fairly large. I don't think she's laid anything for the past two or three days. And normally, she doesn't roost on the ground. She just started doing that a couple days ago (Which is when I noticed something was wrong.)...

One of my black australorps have a pale comb, she’s extremely skinny, and when it looks like she’s about to eat, she just drops the food. She won’t roost, she only lies down on the ground. I came back from somewhere today around lunch time (I left super early so it was still dark out) just to...

No Eggs And Now No Feathers!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I probably would definitely put in a heating lamp. My flock actually is molting during this time of year. Maybe theres some sort of animal like a snake or something eating your eggs. I've actually caught different snakes eating my eggs, but hens normally just slow down or stop laying during this...
