They said they were ok with it before we moved in.
I don't think we could ask them to only come in at certain times and let their chooks out. I think that starts up a potential recipe for eviction, thinking we are hard tenants. I think I would feel too bad having the chooks penned up 24/7...
They have their market garden and their chooks on the property and we get reduced rent. They live up the road with no garden so it works for both of them.
Thats a shame. My kids are really missing having their own chooks, and we are missing the eggs

We are renting and the landlords already have a chicken coop with their chickens in the backyard we are leasing.
We would like our own chickens as I think it will get tricky with deciding who gets the eggs who pays for the feed ect so we want to build another coop on the property...
